Temporary program changes May 1-5
Rocky Mountain PBS is moving - don’t worry, you will still find your favorite PBS programs plus local stories sharing the authentic voices from communities around Colorado on the same channel on your tv and right here on RMPBS.org. Our staff and equipment is moving soon into the Buell Public Media Center located near 21st and Arapahoe in downtown Denver.
As part of this exciting move, there will be some different programming between May 1-5. We are unable to share PBS NewsHour, Washington Week, BBC News, The McLaughlin Group and Firing Line in their normal schedule because of the equipment that is moving this weekend. We know this is a critical time to get news updates, and hope you will check out PBS.org/NewsHour for the latest information and to watch full episodes. You can also watch updates, full episodes and other PBS favorites on the free PBS Video app.
Our subchannel that airs PBS KIDS 24/7 (listed as .2 in channel guides) will still have the best from our educational and entertaining PBS KIDS programming, however it might be a slightly different schedule than normal.
Our subchannel that airs CREATE and The World content (listed as .3), will only be showing CREATE programming this weekend. This includes the best of how-to features, artistic journeys, DIY, food and cooking, and other lifestyle programs.
This move is only possible because of you - Thank you, everyone, who has supported our capital campaign, become a member, attended an event or watched RMPBS. You are all part of the Rocky Mountain Public Media family, and we are excited to have you join us in our new home when social distancing rules allow us to get together again.
The Buell Public Media Center is a place that will foster community dialogue and be a co-working space for storytellers, journalists and the community to learn, share and create relevant and impactful content for all Coloradans.
Our regular schedule on all of our channels will resume May 5.
