There are a variety of ways to make a charitable gift, which may provide tax advantages for you. Please consult your advisors for your best giving option(s). Below are a few recommendations for consideration.

Gifts of Stock

Donating appreciated securities is a great way for you to make a gift to Rocky Mountain PBS. You can deduct the full present fair market value and you owe no tax on the appreciation in value. To make a stock gift to Rocky Mountain PBS, you will need to give the following information to your broker:

IRA Distributions

A Special Opportunity for Those 70½ Years Old and Older
You can give any amount (up to a maximum of $100,000) per year from your IRA directly to a qualified charity such as Rocky Mountain PBS without having to pay income taxes on the money. Gifts of $100,000 or less are eligible for this benefit and you can feel good knowing that you are making a difference at Rocky Mountain PBS. To give via your IRA contact your IRA administrator with the following details and please let us know of your gift by emailing philanthropy@rmpbs.org or calling 303-620-5757.
