About Arts District
Arts District, Rocky Mountain PBS' award-winning half-hour arts and culture series, features local and national artists in pursuit of their artistic passions. Host Kate Perdoni, an Emmy®-nominated producer and director, writer and rock musician, joins host Michael Gadlin, an award-winning contemporary artist. Episodes air Fridays at 8:30pm. Arts District has earned three regional Emmys® and five Colorado Broadcaster’s Association honors.

Meet the Arts District Crew
Kate Perdoni | Arts District Host, Reporter & Producer
Kate Perdoni is a rock musician, artist, writer, and mother. She has served as Executive Director of the Pikes Peak Arts Council, Vice Chair of the City of Colorado Springs' Public Art Commission, and as Advisory Council to the Youth Documentary Academy. Kate was named a 2017 Colorado Springs Business Journal Rising Star, and received the CBCA’s 2018 EY Next Wave Leadership Award.
Michael Gadlin | Arts District Host
Arts District co-host Michael Gadlin is an award-winning contemporary artist, exhibiting in the U.S. and Europe. Having a lifelong passion to participate in collectives, collaborations and community projects that enhance diversity and isopolity through the arts. Michael currently sits on MCA and PlatteForum Board of Directors. My passion is helping make significant difference in my community.
Jennie Castor | Executive Producer & Photojournalist
Jennie loves to share compelling stories. A Fordham grad from the east coast, she began as a news photojournalist and has grown into a solo producer, earning Emmys & a Peabody award along the way. 20 years into this career, she’s proud to call Colorado her home.
Jeffrey Dallet | Editor & Producer
Jeffrey Dallet is a shooter, editor and producer for Arts District in Denver, and loves telling stories. He’s an award-winning singer/songwriter who fronts his own band playing around the Rocky Mountain Region.
Alexis Kikoen | Arts Producer
Alexis is an award-winning video producer with a complete, unfailing passion for storytelling through media. By choosing this path she has been afforded the opportunity to meet incredibly inspiring people and bring their stories and experiences to life. She treasures each fresh perspective and wants nothing more than to share these stories with the world.
