AMC factories provided new opportunities and a pathway to the middle class for thousands of minorities, women and immigrants. However, the perfect storm of economics, mismanagement, and betrayal would eventually bring everything crashing down.

Rumors swirl as the French secretly negotiate to sell AMC to Chrysler Corporation. A terrorist assassination in France sparks a chain of events that leaves thousands of American workers betrayed. Yet, AMC lives on.
