Unexpected sculpture, painting, murals and local history are part of the effort begun by the Regional Transportation District in 1994, to strengthen ties between transit and metro area communities by showcasing public art at more than 45 stations and terminals throughout the Denver metro area. Also: an artist who builds sustainable bee hives; pipe organ virtuoso Cameron Carpenter.
