The special beauty of wood and the high-performance of locally-sourced mechanical parts come together in the custom cycles of Chris Connor, a Colorado craftsman whose pieces are praised for a supple, smooth ride. Connor likes to say his motto is, “Hug a bike. Ride a tree.” Plus, painter Laura Nugent; musician Bela Fleck; a dedicated group of slam poetry competitors.
