Whether it is crafting pottery, making music, or creating something else, making art has been shown to help the process of coming to emotional terms with a traumatic experience. In Colorado there are many programs specifically tailored to US military veterans, and among the newest is Task Force ISO, founded by two veterans to teach photography as both an art and a skill.
