Youth Music of The World presents a series programmes featuring young American musicians and singers performing in iconic and historic European venues. The repertoire is predominantly classical and orchestral and in two programmes choirs from different American schools join together to perform as one mass choir. The students tell us about the experience highlighting the differences from home.

American music students from Riverside High School in Leesburg, Virginia, the Shenandoah Conservatory Studio from Winchester, Virginia, the Normal Wind Ensemble from Illinois and Lovejoy High School from Lucas, Texas perform in Smith Square Hall, London. Amongst the repertoire, Henry Mancini’s beautiful Moon River and James Stephenson’s American Fanfare Part 2.
