Youth Music of the World

Youth Music of The World presents a series programmes featuring young American musicians and singers performing in iconic and historic European venues. The repertoire is predominantly classical and orchestral and in two programmes choirs from different American schools join together to perform as one mass choir. The students tell us about the experience highlighting the differences from home.

American music students from BASIS Phoenix in Arizona and Western Kentucky University, in Kentucky, perform at one of London’s premiere live music venues, Cadogan Hall in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The repertoire includes Unbridled Spirit by Brant Karrick, the traditional Auld Lang Syne, and appropriately Hands Across the Sea and My Old Kentucky Home.
