


Students from Texas and Delaware perform at Smith Square Hall
Youth Music of The World presents a series programmes featuring young American musicians and singers performing in iconic and historic European venues. The repertoire is predominantly classical and orchestral and in two programmes choirs from different American schools join together to perform as one mass choir. The students tell us about the experience highlighting the differences from home.

American music students from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, Odessa High School in Townsend, Delaware, Lovejoy High School from Lucas, Texas and Holly Springs High School, North Carolina perform in Smith Square Hall near London’s Big Ben. Their repertoire includes the Washington Grays March, Amazing Grace, Non Nobis Domine and the Ashokan Farewell.
