Chad Hollingsworth has been Sr. Vice President, Corporate Development since January 2016. He joined the Corporate Development group at Liberty in November 2007 as a Manager and later was promoted to Director and Vice President. Chad participates in corporate development and governance work for several of the Liberty portfolio companies, with particular attention paid to Live Nation, Qurate Retail, ILG and Sound Ventures. He focuses on transaction and structuring opportunities within the Liberty portfolio, new M&A idea generation in telecom/cable infrastructure, retail and live entertainment sectors, valuation/modeling projects (internal and external) and corporate governance. In addition, Chad’s other responsibilities include venture capital investment evaluation and coordinating project allocation for the corporate development team.


Prior to Liberty, Chad worked at Janus as a Health Care Research Analyst for five years and at RBC Daniels as a Telecom and Cable Banking Associate for two years. He received his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in human biology, with honors, in 1999. In 2004, Chad earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst. He currently serves as a director of Rocky Mountain PBS, and from 2011-2013 served as chairman of KUVO JAZZ, Denver's public radio jazz station. Chad and his wife, Marisa, son, Miles, and daughter, Isla live in Denver, Colorado.
