Using Cutouts to Enhance Literacy

Using Cutouts to Enhance Literacy

Combining an activity with reading is a great way to make it more engaging. At the Rutherford County Technology Engagement Center, students use a computer-controlled cutting machine to cut out items related to the book they are reading. Young readers can use scissors to imitate this activity at home and create cutouts tied to what they are reading.
