Over 12 million Africans were kidnapped and sold into slavery with 10 percent dying en route.The series tracks the efforts of Diving with a Purpose (DWP), as they search for and locate six slave ships that went down with their human cargo. It’s a story of brutality and inhumanity, but also of resistance, accomplishment and hope.
