Jazz radio KUVO features monthly live broadcasts with high school and college jazz performers and we hear from a few of them, including the Denver School of the Arts jazz workshop orchestra, one of just 15 bands invited to compete in Essentially Ellington at NY’s Lincoln Center. ALSO: 60s pop artist Sister Mary Corita Kent; Chinese artist Xu Bing; cowboy poetry in Elko Nevada.
