Register104.7 THE DROP is once again teaming up with Levitt Pavilion Denver to kick off summer with its fourth annual Block Party, a free concert featuring Common and a slate of local hip hop talent.
THE DROP 104.7 is community supported radio spotlighting independent and up-and-coming artists, and works to inject new life into Denver’s R&B and hip hop scene, creating a unique sound that is locally rooted with global reach. Join the movement and support THE DROP 104.7 HERE!
COMMON
Academy Award, Emmy and Grammy-winning artist, actor, author, and activist, Common continues to break down barriers with a multitude of critically acclaimed roles, and continued success in all aspects of his career. He has dedicated countless hours and has been deeply engaged in social justice and advocacy work around mass incarceration, mental health and voting. He launched the nonprofit Imagine Justice, and through his Common Ground Foundation, Common is dedicated to empowering high school students from underserved communities to become future leaders.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO TO LEVITT PAVILION DENVER
SEATING:
No chairs are provided, this and all free concert series shows are lawn seating. We recommend bringing your own blankets or chairs (preferably low lawn chairs) for seating. Rental chairs may be available on a limited basis at the guest services table.
PARKING:
On concert days, all cars enter our park on the south side of Ruby Hill Park on Jewell Avenue (indicated by the Yellow Star on the map below). Follow signs and our flaggers who will direct you to the best place to park.
If you require ADA parking, please tell our attendant upon entering and they will direct you to these first-come-first-serve spaces. ADA parking is located right outside of the main entrance, designated on the map below.
Parking on the park grass is illegal and violators will be ticketed or towed.

ENTRY:
General Admission guests will enter via the gate on the grass located near the main entrance. If you require ADA seating section, tell a security agent upon entrance.

VIP ENTRY & WRISTBANDS:
VIP Guests are permitted to enter 30 minutes before GA door times and will enter on the main entrance sidewalk. VIP guests will pick up their VIP wristbands at the Levitt booth located on the sidewalk inside the main entrance. Early entry is subject to change based on artist soundcheck and weather conditions.
RULES:
Lawn chairs, picnic blankets, food (with plastic utensils), empty water bottles and factory sealed beverages allowed. Alcohol, marijuana, glass, and weapons are strictly prohibited.
Please be advised that hula hoops, juggling equipment and poi balls are not permitted in the venue for safety and capacity reasons. If you arrive at the venue with these items, you’ll be asked to return them to your vehicle before entering.

ASIENATOS:

Porfavor esten avisados que los hula hoops, el equipo de malabarismo, y las bolas de poi no están permitidos en el lugar por razones de seguridad y capacidad. Si llega al lugar con estos artículos, se le pedirá que los devuelve a su vehiculo antes de entrar.
