Caregiving in Community: A Film and Conversation on Support, Strain & Strength
Join Rocky Mountain PBS and our Allies for Aging initiative for a special community event featuring a preview of "Caregiving" — a documentary produced by Bradley Cooper and WETA— followed by a panel discussion with organizations and specialists serving caregivers across the Pikes Peak region. Hosted at the newly opened Colorado Springs Senior Center and co‑presented with Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, this gathering centers the real experiences of caregiving and the practical resources available in our community.
Attendees will view curated clips from the film that illuminate the emotional, financial, and societal realities of caregiving. These scenes highlight themes such as caregiver burnout, navigating medical systems, the complexity of end‑of‑life decisions, and the universal truth that caregiving touches every life.
