Will Flowers?
Will Flowers?
[text from Nohkum]: Would you do something that would change history?
Text: Will Flowers?
Like wildflowers, we start as seeds-
soaring through the sky, moving far and wide.
Landing on soft earth,
We wait to see if there is room for us to develop.
We not only see the possibilities,
but an opportunity for us to love and thrive
as we beautifully are
I pour fú and sâkihiwêwin
for myself and for our world.
May they fertilize my roots,
so that my gifts can bring life,
healing, and nourishment for myself,
my families, and my communities.
May these seeds that I leave behind,
Grow our futures too.
