We have experienced a broadcast interruption at our transmitter site that services a large part of Central Southern Colorado. This includes the Salida region as well as the entire San Luis Valley—including Lake George, Coaldale, Del Norte and San Luis. We are actively working to assess the point of failure. Thank you for your understanding and support! Our live stream is also available online and on the RMPBS+ app.

Beyond Columbine Community Conversations

share

As part of Beyond Columbine, our special report on the impacts of the 1999 school shooting, Rocky Mountain PBS invited people across the state to reflect on Columbine’s legacy.

RMPBS hosted community conversations on April 30 in five cities: Denver, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Durango and Grand Junction. Scores of Coloradans were linked electronically, sharing their own stories of how Columbine impacted them. They participated in an interactive poll, sharing their impressions of safety within their communities, and how that compared across the state.

School administrators, medical professionals, students, public officials, media professionals, parents, and community members joined Rocky Mountain PBS staff and volunteers for the evening of conversation.
