Season 2008 Episode 1790 | 8m 58s

Just two years ago, the Roberts court signaled that it might rule this way when it struck down Washington, DC's handgun ban. But since DC was a federal enclave, gun rights supporters challenged Chicago's local law.

Major funding for “Washington Week with The Atlantic” is provided by Consumer Cellular, Otsuka, Kaiser Permanente, the Yuen Foundation, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
