In a rapidly disintegrating East Germany, sisters Margot and Lotte find themselves on opposing political sides. As Margot works to keep the GDR afloat, a presumed-dead third sister surfaces in the West. As the Berlin Wall crumbles and the sisters’ fates intertwine, the actions reverberate through a nation in the throes of transformation. From Walter Presents, in German with English subtitles.
