Austin Freeman’s brilliant forensic expert Dr. John Thorndyke to Arthur Morrison’s notorious villain, private inquiry agent Horace Dorrington, William Hope Hodgson’s world-famous ghost hunter Carnacki and Baroness Orczy’s detective Lady Molly of Scotland Yard.

Between him and freedom are the cell walls, 7 locked steel doors, an 18-foot high wall, and 25 yards of clear ground lit by searchlights. He claims he will “think” his way out. Will he do it? Or, will be become a laughing stock?
