Constructis is developing roadway energy harvesting micro-grids, taking kinetic energy from vehicles as they pass and converting it to real, usable energy that can go back into the grid, or get stored in batteries for emergency usage, powering communications, and first responder needs. These micro-grids will also power pump systems to alleviate roadway flooding.
