Tiwai: Island of the Apes

Tiwai is a rainforest-covered, four-and-a-half miles island, 40 miles upstream from the Atlantic Ocean in West Africa's Moa River in Sierra Leone. In addition to its assortment of unusual animals, it is home to one of the highest densities of primates in the world.
