An Evening With B.B. King provides a rare look into the life of the “King of the Blues”. Taped in Chicago in front of a live audience, King was interviewed by producer and songwriter Isaac Hayes. Born Riley B. King in Itta Bena, Mississippi on September 16, 1925 to sharecropper parents, his guitar-playing reverend first introduced him to gospel music as a child.
