Sinking the Vandenburg

Season 2 Episode 204 | 26m 49s | CC

The final episode explores the world’s second largest intentionally sunk shipwreck, the USNS General Hoyt S. Vandenberg. Submerged in the clear blue waters off Key West, in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, this artificial reef is now attracting fish, fishermen and divers.

Major funding for this program was provided by the Batchelor Foundation, encouraging people to preserve and protect America's underwater resources. Distributed by American Public Television.
