Wolfe explores spectacular glaciers, stunning deserts, colorful rain forests, remote mountain peaks, important tribal gatherings and untouched habitats. Locations include Patagonia, Peru, Bolivia, Alaska, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Madagascar, Nepal, India and South Georgia Island.

Whether it’s vulture heads for sale at a fetish market or sacred bloodstained altars, Voodoo is always front and center. Art Wolfe visits villages known for their vibrant inhabitants and intense rituals and discovers frenzied trances, powerful masked dances and an extraordinary fire-eating ceremony.
