RMPBS KIDS Connect: Earth Month Is Here!

Create Nature Poetry In Celebration of Our Home

Nature is often an inspirational source for beautiful poetry, so this April combine a celebration of Earth Month and National Poetry Month with this English and Spanish bilingual Nature Poetry Builder from "Cyberchase." New episodes from this show premiere in April, along with new episodes of “Elinor Wonders Why,” and “Wild Kratts.”

Meanwhile, for middle and high school students, the PBS LearningMedia collection “Climate and Our Planet” is an interesting exploration of some of the latest science behind Earth's climate, as well as the many positive solutions helping create a healthier future for our planet.

Ever heard of The Earthshot Prize?

The Earthshot Prize is a global challenge to find, support and celebrate those who turn bold ideas into real solutions to repair our planet, according to its founders. This PBS LearningMedia series takes a deeper dive into previous Earthshot finalist stories about the progress humanity has recently made in protecting and restoring our planet. For middle school students and anyone fascinated by scientific advancement, learn about agrivoltaics – which is a new land use model of intermingling crops with solar panel installations – electric motorcycles, and Earth stewardship as some solutions for improving humanity's sustainable growth on our planet.
