Find new mathematical discoveries that help save the day with our new PBS KIDS shorts series, “Count On June Bug!,” which premiered this month for children ages 3 to 5. In each episode of this math comedy adventure, take a peek down in the grass and meet June, a spunky little June beetle who is curious about everything in her gigantic world. Fun and engaging show content is available for families and teachers alike. We also think June has a great motto: “You learn something new every day — count on it!”
This Saturday, invite older children to celebrate the informal Pi Day holiday by exploring intriguing appearances of pi and the Fibonacci sequence outside of mathematics in this video from NOVA: The Great Math Mystery.
