Pre Day 1 Checklist
Welcome to Rocky Mountain Public Media! If you’re reading this, you’re wondering how to prepare for your first day on the job. Luckily, there’s not much you need to do!
Just make sure to complete the following before your first day.
Sign Paperwork
Electronically sign the onboarding paperwork that has been emailed to you.
Setup Account
Set up your account in iSolved (to include your name, contact information, direct deposit, 403(b) contributions, I-9 Employment Verification form, W-4 Employee Tax Withholding Certificate, and beneficiaries).
Email Bio & Photo
Email Human Resources your bio and photo at HR@rmpbs.org.
Connect with Your Manager
Connect with your manager regarding your Day 1 schedule.
Day 1
Day 1 is all about introductions: to you, the team, and to the organization. Don’t worry about performing or completing any major work – this is our chance to get to know you, show you around, and familiarize you with our culture.
Orientation
Basic policies and procedures, paperwork, benefits, payroll, and culture
Building tour and desk tour
Familiarize yourself with the office space, take a look at our studios, and meet colleagues along the way.
Lunch on us!
Get to know your new manager and teammates by enjoying a lunch on us!
1 on 1 Meeting with Your Manager
Dedicated time with your manager to talk about short-term expectations and the week ahead.
