Our featured partner for Behavioral Health Careers is the Colorado Community College System. Colorado community colleges offer 5 “micro-credential” pathways in behavioral health for foundational skills in mental health and substance misuse treatment. Seven CCCS colleges offer one or more of the following behavioral health pathways: Behavioral Health Assistant Qualified BHA, Behavioral Health Assistant II, Behavioral Health +, Patient Navigator, and Addiction Recovery Assistant.   • Basic Requirements: HS diploma up to Master's degree, depending on the role
  • Typical Wages: Entry level: $18-25/hr; Bachelor's: $25-35/hr; $45-65k/yr (in Colorado)
  • Typical Hours: Schedule could be flexible and could include nights/weekends or on call time, depending on the role
  • Job Outlook: 6-17% growth over the next 10 years (much faster than the average)
  • Next Position: A bachelor's or master's degree could result in a higher position
