To honor Cleo Parker Robinson's rich legacy, the Colorado Symphony has partnered with her studio to put on a show celebrating five decades of the heart and soul of Cleo Parker Robinson Dance.

Meet Cleo Parker Robinson, a pioneer for Black excellence. Born and raised in the heart of Denver's historic Five Points neighborhood, the Rossonian, Cleo grew up on music and doesn't remember a time when she wasn't dancing. After a brief stint trying to make as a dancer in New York City, Cleo returned home to make Denver a music and cultural hub. She founded and continues to be heavily involved in her dance company, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance. Throughout her 53-year career, Cleo has become a cultural ambassador who has influenced the world of dance, not only in Denver, but across the globe. She has paved the way for many generations of talented dancers to take center stage and has been a true pillar of the Five Points community for over five decades.
