We have experienced a broadcast interruption at our transmitter site that services a large part of Central Southern Colorado. This includes the Salida region as well as the entire San Luis Valley—including Lake George, Coaldale, Del Norte and San Luis. We are actively working to assess the point of failure. Thank you for your understanding and support! Our live stream is also available online and on the RMPBS+ app.

Painting the incredible life of Mr. Barney Ford

share

Leilani Abeyta created the artwork for the Rocky Mountain PBS documentary Mr. Barney Ford.

Her style is hyperrealism, using reference photographs to inform large, ultra-lifelike portraits with excruciating detail and attention to light.

Leilani Abeyta holds a Painting BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. She was an intern with Platte Forum.

Leilani’s artwork can be seen in the RMPBS documentary and will be on display at the Barney Ford House Museum in Breckenridge in January 2022, for Barney Ford's 200th birthday (Jan 22, 2022).
