We have experienced a broadcast interruption at our transmitter site that services a large part of Central Southern Colorado. This includes the Salida region as well as the entire San Luis Valley—including Lake George, Coaldale, Del Norte and San Luis. We are actively working to assess the point of failure. Thank you for your understanding and support! Our live stream is also available online and on the RMPBS+ app.

Beyond Columbine Community Conversations

share

On the evening of April 30th, people across the state gathered to reflect on Columbine’s legacy. Rocky Mountain PBS hosted community conversations in Denver, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Durango, and Grand Junction. Approximately 100 people participated in the roundtable discussions. We heard from school administrators, medical professionals, students, public officials, media professionals, parents, and community members.

This truly was an example of our mission in action!

These Beyond Columbine community conversations provided a safe place for community members, friends, family, and neighbors to share and reflect on the impact Columbine has had on their lives.

Thank you to the following staff, volunteers, and members who helped to make the night possible: Brooke Collins, Mark Montour-Larson, Kelly Flink, Laura Frank, Betty Flatten (volunteer), Carrie McKee, Alex Forsett, Hillary Daniels, Flower Olsen, Gretchen Henderson, Maria Tucker (Pueblo Library Partner), Jan Martin (RMPM Board Member), and Sean Anglum (SoCO LAC Member).
