We have experienced a broadcast interruption at our transmitter site that services a large part of Central Southern Colorado. This includes the Salida region as well as the entire San Luis Valley—including Lake George, Coaldale, Del Norte and San Luis. We are actively working to assess the point of failure. NEWS
SUPERIOR, Colo. — Dozens of dogs dived, dipped and dashed at Superior’s South Pool during the annual Dog Daze event on September 4 as the pool closed for the season.

Brighton, Thornton and Pueblo also give dogs the chance to swim before workers drain city pools. In 2023, Fort Collins permanently cancelled its pooch plunge citing environmental concerns. Boulder followed suit this year because of budget concerns.

Superior’s South Pool lifeguards have yet to perform CPR on a K-9.
