Thank you for your patience and assistance as we make these improvements.
As of 6pm, Friday May 24, our new Denver antenna tower for KRMA is installed and operational. We will slowly bring the antenna to full power over the Memorial Day weekend, but many viewers should be able to find the signal as of now. If your rescan is still unsuccesful, you may need to wait until we reach full power on the 27th or 28th of May.
Antenna viewers in Denver will need to rescan your televisions after noon on Wednesday, March 20.
Due to FCC changes in broadcast technology RMPBS will be changing frequencies. If you view us using an antenna, and live in the Denver area, you will need to rescan your television after noon on March 20.
Subscribers to cable and satellite TV do not need to take any action. Your service providers will make the change for you.
You’ll find everything you need to know about rescanning your television on this page.
How to Rescan your TV
How to Rescan your TV for RMPBS
Press menu on your remote
Go to the channel setup option
Select antenna or tuner
Start a new scan
Done! Your TV will do the rest. This process usually takes a few minutes to complete.
Once your rescan is complete you will still find your favorite stations on the same channel number as before. If you have rescanning difficulties, you can usually find instructions by selecting the Set-Up or Menu button on your television or converter box remote control.
Still having issues? Consult the TV or converter box owner's manual for detailed instructions on how to run a channel scan, or contact customer service for your TV or converter box manufacturer.
