Volunteer for Antiques Roadshow at Chatfield Farms!

Dear Prospective Volunteers, 

ANTIQUES ROADSHOW is coming to Littleton on Wednesday, May 29th. We have an exciting opportunity for you to volunteer at this special event!

You will be sent a volunteer handbook containing more details about the training day and appraisal day prior to May 28th. Appraisals for Volunteers are included! All volunteers working at the appraisal events can have up to two items appraised in the late afternoon on a break. Production Supervisors will instruct the volunteers when they can get their items appraised.

Full Details

Volunteers will be assigned various tasks, including: 

Front-of-house: Volunteers greet and direct attendees as they arrive, scan attendee tickets, and attach wrist bands, check-in station, escorting guests, answer questions, help direct people to the triage line, hand out the event programs, direct press, local station and sponsorship attendees, and answer questions. 

Triage: Volunteers escort attendees from the generalist appraisers to the correct appraisal line for a specialist. 

Production Set: Volunteers manage the appraisal lines and assist the crew on the set as needed. This may include securing the recording areas, directing crowd flow and acting as “runner” for the ROADSHOW producers. 

When: 

  • Mandatory Training Day: Tuesday, May 28th, 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Appraisal Day: Wednesday, May 29th, 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

 

Where: Denver Botanic Gardens CHATFIELD FARMS, 8500 W Deer Creek Canyon Rd, Littleton, CO 80128 

Volunteer Requirements:  

  • Minimum age to volunteer is 18.
  • At Check-in all volunteers must show a government-issued photo ID.
  • All positions require standing or walking throughout the 12+ hour event (breaks provided throughout the day).
  • Must attend a training session on the day before the event from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Need to arrive by 6:00 a.m. on event day.
  • All volunteers will be required to comply with ANTIQUES ROADSHOW’s 2024 Health & Safety Policy at the time of the event including any vaccination requirements (currently, staff crew, appraisers and volunteers are expected to be vaccinated)

Perks of Volunteering: All volunteers will receive breakfast, boxed lunch, snacks, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW shirts, baseball caps, and identification badges will be provided to all volunteers.
