Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month Event Features RMPBS Program

The Alliance to Combat Human Trafficking-Pueblo will be screening and discussing the Rocky Mountain PBS program, Traded and Trafficked​ during a special meeting this month, in recognition of Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month.

According to a the group's Facebook page, the program will be screened and discussed at the Rawlings Public Library, 100 E. Abriendo Ave., Pueblo, CO 81004 on January 16th, 2018 at 6:30pm in the InfoZone Theatre on the 4th floor.

Traded and Trafficked​ takes an in-depth examination of the human trafficking-related crimes affecting children throughout Colorado and pinpoints where the crimes have been discovered and prosecuted the most.

According to the Department of Homeland Security this month was designated National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month by a presidential proclamation. 

Meanwhile, the Larimer Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children High Risk Intervention Team will host its first annual Colorado Human Trafficking Symposium at Colorado State University on February 22, 2018.
