Colorado Voices: Dealing with Death

Death is often a taboo subject, which makes the experience of losing a loved one often jarring and difficult to deal with. From discussing the emotions you may feel to planning arrangements after your own death, the death care industry in Colorado provides diverse perspectives on something that we will all experience.

"Colorado Voices: Dealing with Death" is available to watch on YouTube and will reair on Rocky Mountain PBS on October, 13 at 7 p.m.

Colorado Voices: Dealing with Death

Dealing with Death | Cultural Perspectives

Each culture and religion has varying beliefs on something every living thing experiences death. We wanted to take time to highlight different beliefs that aren't always in the center of discussion about death. Take a listen to some of the Colorado neighbors and their views on death.

“We are not a one-size-fits-all society, we’re not one-size-fits-all humans, so why should our death care be that way?”

-Lauren Carroll of Deathwives.
