Mr. Haddon is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of International Natural Resource Management Co., a private company. Mr. Haddon is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines and a seasoned mining engineer with over 40 years of international mining and business experience. Mr. Haddon spent 23 years working for Texasgulf Inc. and Amax Inc. with responsibilities in Africa, Australia, Southeast Asia and North and South America. Mr. Haddon was Chief Executive Officer of Amax Gold Inc. (NYSE) from 1989 to 1993, Co-founder of First Dynasty Mines in 1994, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Archangel Diamond Corporation from 1997 through 2002. Mr. Haddon has served as Chairman of Anatolia Minerals Development Limited (TSX) since 1998, until it merged with Avoca Resources in 2011, and was Chairman of Alacer Gold Corp (TSX,ASX) the successor company until his retirement in September 2013. He was Chairman of Thompson Creek Metals Company (NYSE,TSX) until it's sale to Centerra Gold in October 2016, having been a Director since 2007. Mr. Haddon has been Chairman of Audit, Compensation and Corporate Governance committees and sat on Health, Safety and Environment committees of public companies. The governor of Colorado nominated Mr. Haddon to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Colorado School of Mines in 2012 and his appointment was confirmed by the State Senate in early 2013. The Senate confirmed Haddon’s reappointment for a second term in 2016.

Mr. Haddon has worked extensively with environmental groups and project stakeholders around the world, encouraging communication and dialog, to ensure all parties concerns relating to sustainable mine and mine community development are better understood. While CEO of Amax Gold, the company was awarded the Dupont Environmental Excellence Award . This annual award, judged by environmental activists including members of the Sierra Club, Mineral Policy Center and the National Wildlife Federation, was given to the gold mining company exhibiting the best environmental practices. In addition during his tenure the endowed Amax Environmental Chair was established at the Colorado School of Mines. In 1993 Mr. Haddon was asked, as part of the Clinton Administration's "Reinventing Government Initiative" to sit on a committee to examine and make recommendations regarding the future role of the US Bureau of Mines. Currently Mr. Haddon is involved with companies operating mines in the USA and Canada.

In 2013 Mr. Haddon retired as Chairman of Alacer Gold after 15 years on the board. In honor of his service the company endowed a chair in Mining Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines in his name. In 2014 Mr. Haddon was awarded the Saunders Gold Medal by the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers "In recognition of the outstanding professional accomplishments as a mining engineer, corporate executive, leader and entrepreneur."
