Alfonso (Al) Rosabal
Global Enterprise Executive Partner
Al is a Global & High Technology Enterprise Executive Partner in Gartner’s Executive Programs. As an EP, he works closely with C-Level executive teams, advising on strategic priorities, mission critical initiatives, and impactful decisions. He provides thought leadership and advisory services helping clients achieve their company’s goals and objectives. His primary areas of focus include strategy, portfolio management, application development, vendor & contract management, financial management and leadership.
Al is a technology and operations executive with over 27 years of experience in multiple industries including aerospace & DoD, BPO, wireless, public sector, media & advertising, and education. He’s successfully executed in the role of CTO, CIO, COO and CEO and worked closely with investors and boards of directors. His background encompasses improving delivery and efficiency in organizations through the use of strategic planning, digital transformation, agile, and enterprise platform implementations. Al has led cross-functional and organization-wide initiatives resulting in increased revenue and profitability and closer alignment with business operations. He’s led operations and technology for a public company undergoing a full digital and market transformation, and led a capital raise and acquisition, working closely with private equity and venture capital investors in the process.
Al is passionate about strategy, culture, leadership development and leading through crisis. He’s a student of how inspiring leadership and crisp decision making can bring success and deliver innovative results, and how ineffective leadership can invite failure into an organization.
Al has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and an MBA in Finance from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. He was selected to participate in the prestigious Yale CEO College at the Yale graduate school of management, completed coursework with the Center for Creative Leadership, and is a Project Management Professional (PMP).
