Save the Date: An Evening with Ken Burns

Rocky Mountain PBS is proud to present an intimate evening with “The Vietnam War” filmmaker Ken Burns. Featuring selected previews from the new 10-part documentary series co-directed by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, a moderated panel discussion, and audience Q&A. Burns will be joined by former Air Force Chief of Staff and retired Four-Star General Merrill McPeak.

"The Vietnam War" is a 10-part, 18-hour documentary film series directed by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick that will air Sunday, September 17, 2017 - Thursday, September 21 and Sunday, September 24 - Thursday, September 28 on Rocky Mountain PBS.

In an immersive 360-degree narrative, Burns and Novick tell the epic story of the Vietnam War as it has never before been told on film. "The Vietnam War" features testimony from nearly 100 witnesses, including many Americans who fought in the war and others who opposed it, as well as Vietnamese combatants and civilians from both the winning and losing sides.
