Last night, I fell backwards into a ticket to the opening night of the Democratic National Convention. While I didn't manage to get a seat inside the arena, I did laps around the perimeter – and came within 10 feet of former President Jimmy Carter. I Am – The Library is an ethnographic video project, which documents the everyday ways a public library is used.
