Here's the problem. Integrity seems to have evaporated from our politicians and media. Everybody is selling something. And people "buy" whatever agrees with them - rather than searhing for truth. You've heard the saying "I've made my decision, don't confuse me with the facts." And then there's the power and concentration of media ownership. It's depressing. Most media clearly does not value contributing to an informed public.
