Our final webisode of "How the West was Camped" features camping at Turquoise Lake near Leadville. Enjoy!
About 'How the West was Camped'
The 4-part original web series is by Rocky Mountain PBS producer Scott Darnell and engineer Tom Dailey. These humorous and informative "webisodes" feature Scott and Tom and their families while they camp and explore some of Colorado's national parks, national monuments and national forests, as well as other nearby attractions.
Shown from a car-camper/RV perspective, these short pieces feature camping tips and activities that are fit for all ages.

No no no mosquito repellant on dogs!!
They tend to lick it off. My friends' Yorkie nearly died because of this. You show a large retriever so maybe larger breeds can tolerate this, but check with a vet.

You are by far my favorite TV show host... I haven't seen anything this good since Joey Greco on Cheaters! Keep it awesome, and keep on making this great show!

This web series was awesome. I learned a lot about Colorado and am able to choose the perfect camp site, come prepared and know that my children and grandchildren would be safe and tons of fun. Thank you for producing this...do you do other states?
Keep up the good work!
