I bought a Bustle chair at a chicken auction, that is large, has lots of carving and gold guilded. I had it restored and they say it is from the mid 1800s from France. When will you be in Oklahoma.

To Linda:
My goal is to bring a German weaving to Antiques Road Show. The weaving, a coverlet, is indigo and white, woven in two widths which are then stitched together. The weaving is in perfect shape. 35 years ago I found a very soiled version of this coverlet in Indiana priced at $ 2400. I hope an appraiser can give me an estimate on the value. This is a family heirloom. We live in Alaska. We're willing to travel to wherever, to have the opportunity for an appraiser to see our treasure.
I will watch your web site for the 2010 schedule. Date of this email is Nov. 7, 2009

If you go to http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/roadshow/appraisers/index.html and select Paintings & Drawings you will see a list of appraisers. Go through the list for the ones closest to you; locations are given. You can also go to a search engine using LOUIS JAMBOR as a search phrase. Best wishes.
