About SAM
Through a grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), the SAM project was created by volunteers of Rocky Mountain PBS. "SAM" was established in 2000 to identify, document and preserve the history of Rocky Mountain PBS relating to volunteers, programming, community outreach and administrative operations.
SAM is always looking for additional volunteers to help with archiving.

If Ken Burns is still interested in Colorado dust bowl survivors, my mom and her sisters have tremendous stories and memorabilia from the drama that surrounded their childhoods growing up as homesteaders on the plains. They would be happy to share.
