Watch Now
Tavis Smiley recently interviewed the legendary music icon.
Watch now.
In this rare and deeply personal interview, Prince discusses the struggles of his youth, his strained relationship with his father, his frustration with the music industry and his decision not to vote. He also talks openly about guitar playing as challenging and frustrating, and about how he met his protégé and collaborator, Bria Valente.
"Tavis Smiley" airs Tuesday-Saturday at midnight on Rocky Mountain PBS.
