More than 250 people attended our "400 Years of the Telescope" preview screening and stargazing party at Fiske Planetarium in Boulder. What a hit!
In these photos, planetarium director Doug Duncan is shown welcoming the crowd at a pre-screening reception. A few kids participated in a geothermal energy/color demonstration, and we learned that the "Science on a Sphere" hanging exhibit was a Boulder invention. Also pictured: a packed crowd in the theater, where stunning overhead visuals swept across the dome.
Filmmaker Kris Koenig was excited to meet Rocky Mountain PBS supporters and share his insights throughout the evening. If you have additional photos, please e-mail them to news@rmpbs.org.
