Does the cold shoulder ever work at school if you have an offensive group that offends everybody? Maybe we ought to comunicate with them to get to know them as they say get to know your enemy and maybe one just might turn out to be an alie....talking never works..action does...our enemy may not hold a gun ..but may .....have uro's

The Republican community activist on tonight's panel is extreme indeed. The conversation was supposed to be about active diplomacy between the U.S. government and other governments of the world with whom our government does not agree. The Republican community activist immediately started talking about negotiating with murderers and rapists in U.S. prisons! This person and those in her camp are champions of fear mongering. Aren't they supposed to be Christians with faith in a higher power? What happened to love thy neighbor? These folks are akin to no other Christians I've ever known.

In the the discussion the panel referred to "our enemies " as terrorists, what if some country launched an attach on U.S. soil, would we consider them Terrorists??!! I think if you ask some of the inosents over there we would be considered Terrorists, why do "Religious persons " consider us as the chosen,
the blessed? We are the new kids on the block as far as countries and such go, why do we consider ourselves right no matter what.....
.....and last but not least why do a good amount of Christians that I know, major in winning an argument not focusing on facts, which are hard to get here in the good ol U S OF A

this program was so poorly handled that I went away even more frustrated than before. If we cannot respect one another in this context, how in the world will we have a reasonable dialogue with anyone with an opposing view?
I was terribly disappointed that the the "person in charge" did not insist that that lunatic from Castle Rock (Kendal Unruh) at least allow others to state their views!!! A missed opportunity for all of us, with the exception of the extreme right wing fundamentalist "Christian".

I don't know where you found Kendall Unruh, but that woman is what I would call a right-wing extremist that is completely out-of-touch with mainstream American culture. I have watched programs you have aired previously that she has been on the panel, and every time she is on your program, she completely misrepresents facts and does not contribute anything intelligent to the discussion. I enjoy your program for generally providing opinions from a variety of different opinions. Your program on Friday night was a complete waste of my time and that of your panelists.

You just saw the face of an American terrorist.
Her BEST friend is Osama Bin Laden. She LOVES him.
Everything is about violence, fear, mass murder all based on a religious devotion to ignorance.
That is what terrorists are all about.
She is practically foaming at the mouth anticipating violence & expecting by terrifying everyone else they will forget that this is mostly irrational & phony bullpucky.
A complete foolish shill for the industrial military mindless war machine.
These terrorist mentalities of every stripe disown their own humanity.
They are suiciding the entire planet, because they are too busy casting themselves inside some Hollywood religious melodrama rather than the largely rational universe, best & most agilely addressed with the power of the intellect.
We are facing mass extinction, including human extinction.
All this terrorism rhetoric is TRIVIAL compared to what we face with global warming.
247 million years ago the Greatest Mass Extinction in all of evolution was caused by global warming.
Be cool.
Be dry.
don't listen to stupid people in any serious way.
Armageddonists want to suicide YOUR planet to fulfill their insane melodrama.
Don't let them.
I certainly won't.

I found both questions on this program to be infected with the closed minds of all involved. I would hope Colorado could develop a forum that would inform on these important subjects.

I was very disappointed in your program that was aired 6/6/08. Your guests were extremely rude to each other and all talked at once so you didn't know what anyone was saying. The lady in the green top was extremely rude and wanted to talk all the time. You need to get better educated people on your show. Members from the news media do a better job.
Thank for listening

The reason I didn't know the names of your panel members is because I tuned in late after they were introduced. I guess from reading the other comments, I missed nothing.

Appease This!!
(He?s late for a very important date!!)
There?s no time to lose! While Democrats dally, Bush drools, anticipating a quick conquest of Iran before his term expires. ?I?ll not talk appeasement!? exhorts the hysterical Bush. ?I?ll not dialogue with my prey. Now, appease bend over and drop your pants. I?ve got a lot of countries to do.?
Though Scott McClellan?s recent revelations provide a few grains of salt for administration claims that Iran is supporting radicals in both Lebanon and Iraq, like an alarm clock gradually penetrating a deep sleep, the drums of war have been beating steadily. Will we waken in time to prevent yet another needless conflagration in our short, violent, pathetically misguided military history?
Nearly without exception, every war we?ve ever fought was wrong headed; consistently inspired by insidious greed and hyper inflated haught. The Revolutionary, 1812, Spanish - American, Civil, 1st and 2nd WWs, Korean, Vietnamese, Panamanian, Grenadine, Afghanistani and 1st and 2nd Iraqi wars. Ceaselessly the bodies pile up, lives uselessly wasted, lives and property wantonly destroyed. Shall we continue feeding our grotesque addiction with yet another unwarranted invasion?
We?re not fooling anyone. Our current oil-fueled, fanatically fundamentalist, apocalyptic fantasy of wresting the holy land from sub-human Arab Infidels to build a Christian ruled ?City on a Hill?, dates to the crusades. The 1917 Balfour Declaration supporting a Zionist state was a calculated, cowardly attempt to create this island of Christian encroachment in a sea of Islamic domination, hiding the predatory British desires for priceless petroleum and religious artifacts - Egyptian, Christian and Jewish - behind a mien of altruism for a persecuted people. This cunning deceit can be traced to a similar stunt by German Kaiser Wilhelm II twenty years earlier .
The 1947 establishment of the so-called ?secular? State of Israel exploited the rampant impotence, insolvency and anarchy in the ruined Ottoman Empire to reinforce this Christian beachhead, again bolstered by sympathy and guilt generating accounts of the Holocaust. Even Truman?s 1948 recognition of Israeli independence was a bold faced ploy, coldly calculated not only to win back desperately needed votes from liberal Democrats he?d alienated during the railroad strike, but to woo critical votes of Fundamentalist Christian Dixicrats opposed to his belated, lukewarm foray as champion of African-American civil rights, also a slyly contrived catering to the vital votes of both blacks and the left.
While ?Defense of the Jewish Homeland? is our public, proxy agenda, Christian control is obviously our true aim in confiscating the territory biblically designated as the promised land (Genesis 15;18, ?from the Nile to the Euphrates?): Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Turkey, and, incidentally, all the oil therein. With annexation of Iran, the deed to Afghanistan, (Kashmir, next door, is a ?no man?s land?), and ?liberation? of Tibet, this behemoth will balloon to the very borders of Myanmar.
And since the Bible is mute to latitudinal boundaries, dominion could technically range north from Durban, South Africa; consuming much or all of Mozambique, Malawi, Madagascar, Seychelles, Comoros, Mauritius, Zambia, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Sudan and Egypt, and on through central Ukraine to include all of Russia between Leningrad, Moscow and the Barents Sea.
Meanwhile, Christianity dominates Europe, North and South America and Northern Asia from the Urals to the Bering Straits. With insidious missionary creep infesting Africa, the islands of the South Pacific, even deep into the South China Sea., slimy Christian tentacles literally encircle the globe!
Little wonder we see nervous perspiration bead the brows of leaders in North Korea, Myanmar, Iran, and Venezuela. Alone, against all odds, these brave men dare battle the gargantuan. Anxiety haunts their people, from the innocuous grandmother to the seemingly incomprehensible young suicide bomber fanatic. For in defeat they join the legions of the subservient. Android slaves to those wearing the sacrilegiously mutated, perversely reversed, Stripes and Stars.
Incredulously, with eternal naiveté, echoing the Texas polygamist wives, the Ugly Americans still ask: ?Doesn?t everybody want to live this way??

I have to agree with everyone else that Kendall Unruh had to be the mouthiest, rudest person I've seen on this show. I kept hoping someone would tell her to shut her yap so the other 3 people could have their say. I usually enjoy this program as well as the PBS programs before and after this one ... but Friday's show was a pain to sit through because of that horrible woman!!

Regarding the June 6th program - Please don't let people talk over each other. At one point two people were talking over a 3rd person. It was painful to listen to and not understandable for those reasons. You generally do a much better job of moderating.
