Hey everyone, thanks for making "How the West was Camped" one of Rocky Mountain PBS' most popular web-series to date. We had a blast exploring the four areas covered by the show, but we know there are countless other places for families to head to for great camping adventures. That's why we are enlisting your help to share your favorite outdoor destination with the other fans of "How the West Was Camped!" Together we can put together a great catalog of places to plan for next years camping season.
Submit your favorite camping videos and stories here
. Videos should be family-friendly!
And, be sure to enter our photo contest here
. You could win a free DVD set of "The National Parks" series.

4, 4, 4, 4, Excellent. I plan to visit this sight on a regular basis. Please keep it and add to it. I've been coming to Colorado for 40 years and have been to each of the locations but you still pointed out places we've missed. We'll be back for those. Dunes, Black Canyon and Florissant were all great!!! Again, what an outstanding website and Kudos to Tom, Scott and families for making the videos.
